We Don’t Just Understand the Burden—We’ve Carried It.
ORRS was built to relieve the administrative burden of records management by providing intuitive, intelligent tools that protect your bandwidth, your workflow, and your team’s focus.
The Problem
We tackle a real problem.
The surge in submissions of open records requests have left some school districts scrambling to find solutions.
Consider this, an average of 33 monthly requests translates to 400 annually. With each request requiring 135 minutes on average, the cumulative labor tally reaches 900 hours.
It isn’t a hypothetical, it really happened and while legal obligations bind school districts to fulfill these demands, the outcome often lacks tangible district-wide benefits.

Logan Augustus Ruths
Logan is the founder of Open Records Request Solutions LLC and the driving force behind its purpose-built platform. As a former Network Administrator, Records Custodian, and Systems Engineer for a public school district, he witnessed firsthand the strain outdated systems placed on staff—and the public trust.
In response, he built a custom internal records system that allowed him to process over 400 requests in a single year, while juggling other district responsibilities. That experience revealed a gap not just in tools, but in philosophy.
Backed by a team of seasoned advisors across public education, global finance, and operations, Logan designed ORRS from the ground up—architecting a system that combines automation, AI, and practical workflows to give public institutions the control that they've been missing.
